Your clinic’s plan and billing
One subscription for the clinic, priced by how many clients it has open — never by staff or devices. Here is what you pay, when a change is charged, and how to stop.
Updated
What it costs
The plan includes a set number of clients, and each client past them adds a set amount, monthly or yearly. Staff and devices cost nothing more. Prices are in US dollars, and any sales tax is added on top.
You choose Monthly or Yearly when you set up your clinic, and can switch on the Plan tab — in the account menu — which also shows your plan’s price, how many clients you have of how many, and when it renews.
Switching between monthly and yearly
- On the Plan tab, press Switch to yearly (or Switch to monthly).
- occo shows the new price for your clients, what is charged today and when the new billing renews. Press the switch again to confirm, or Not now.
The new billing starts today, at the client limit you have now. Switching to yearly charges the year today, less what’s left of the current month. Switching to monthly charges the first month today, less what’s left of your year; anything left over is kept as credit for your next bills, not refunded. During the free trial, nothing is charged: your first bill is on the new billing. A drop to a lower limit you had scheduled is cancelled by the switch, and you can lower the limit again afterwards.
Adding a client to your limit
Only clients whose access is open count, and Demo Client, the client your staff try occo as, never does. When the plan is full, add a place:
- On the Plan tab, press Add a client.
- occo says what one more client costs and that your limit goes up by one. Press Add a client again.
The new place is yours at once and charged today, for the rest of the current month or year; from then on it is on every bill. During the free trial, nothing is charged for it.
Lowering the limit
- On the Plan tab, press Lower the limit.
- Type the New limit. It cannot go under the clients you have now, or the ones your plan includes.
- Press Lower the limit.
It takes effect when your plan renews, and nothing is refunded before then: you keep the places you paid for until that day. The tab says Drops to the new number, and on what day; if you change your mind, press Keep beside it. To make room first, end the access of clients you no longer see. See ending a client’s access.
The card, tax and promotion codes
The card is taken in Stripe’s secure checkout when you set up the clinic. occo does not store the card number; Stripe does. To use another card, press Change card on the Plan tab: charges for your plan go to that card from then on.
- Sales tax, where it applies, is worked out from the billing address you give in checkout, and added on top.
- A tax ID for your clinic can be added in checkout too, for your invoices.
- A promotion code, if you have one, goes in checkout’s promotion code field before you pay.
Cancelling
- On the Plan tab, press Cancel plan.
- occo says the day your plan stays on until. Press Cancel plan again, or Keep my plan.
Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current month or year: until then everything works as it does now, and after it your plan no longer covers your clients. Your clients and everything they have played are kept. Changed your mind before then? Press Keep my plan on the same tab. Cancelling during the free trial means nothing is charged at all.
A complimentary plan
If Ouva has set your clinic up at no charge, the Plan tab says Complimentary and there is nothing to pay. To change how many clients you can have, write to [email protected].
