A client’s progress
Every client’s page shows how they are doing: how far through their program they are, a level for each skill and every session they played — from the clinic and from home, in one place.
Updated
Where to find it
Open the client’s page from their tile on Your clients. Under their card is their program, then Progress, with a date range beside it — Last 30 days to begin with — and two tabs at the top of the page:
- Overview: Skill levels beside Recently completed, the latest sessions. View all opens the rest.
- Activity history: every session in the range, day by day.
Pick a skill or a session for its sheet: what counted, how much help each answer took, and More on the data for the detail underneath. They are the same views a family sees on its own Progress page, and reading Progress explains each one.
Clinic and home together
A client plays on one profile wherever they play: when your staff play as them on the clinic’s laptop or tablet, and at home once their family has joined and has occo Family (see practice at home). So there is one history and one set of skill levels, not two.
Sessions are not marked as the clinic’s or home’s. Each shows its day and time, which is usually enough to tell them apart.
Programs
Under the client’s card is the program they are on: its name, then where it stands — the day, how many steps are done, when it was assigned and by whom, and when they last played it. Under the bar is a row for each step: the activity and what finishes it, its day and how it is set, and where it stands:
- Done, with the day: it met its finish.
- How far it has got, such as 5 of 8, or Started where there is no count to show.
- Couldn’t play, with why — no camera, say. It is neither done nor not reached, and playing it later clears it.
- Not reached: not played yet.
A step with a difficulty setting changed says it is not counted toward skill levels: its play shows here and in the sessions, but moves no level. Edit for and their name changes the program, and Replace gives them a new one. With no program, the panel offers Make a program, and Start from the library when your clinic has programs there. See building a program.
A step’s sessions
Pick a step that has been played for its sessions, newest first: when, for how long, and how far each moved the step. Pick one for its sheet, the same as under Progress, and step through the step’s other sessions from there. Sessions played from the program are in Progress with the rest, too.
Past programs
The programs a client had before are under Past programs, newest first: their dates, how many steps were done, the minutes played, and Completed, or Replaced when you gave them a new one. Pick one to see it where the current one was, as it was played, with nothing to change. Back to the current program returns.
Who sees it
- Your clinic’s staff, every one of them, for the clients your clinic added. Nobody at another clinic does.
- The client’s family, once a parent has joined from your invite: under Progress, in their own occo account.
- Nobody sees a picture: the camera’s picture never leaves the device. See the camera and privacy.
When a client’s access ends, their progress goes out of sight for your staff at once and is kept. Readmit them and it is all there again.
Common questions
No. The numbers describe play — accuracy, timing, smoothness, the help each answer took — and the skills come from occupational therapy research. They are there to talk about, beside your own observations, not to diagnose anything.
Nothing has been played in the date range yet: widen it with the date menu, such as Last 90 days. For a child under 13, nothing is saved until a parent has signed, so sessions before then are not there to show. Skill levels move only in the activities that measure a skill, so a client who has played only the others has sessions but no levels yet.
